That Green Dude

Me and my family have had a bit of a clear out. We’ve been getting rid of stuff we no longer want and donating it to charity and so on. During the clear out I came across a box and at the bottom of it I found something rather cool, a Resistance 2 newspaper.

For those that don’t know about Resistance, it was a first person shooter series created by Insomniac Games who also develop the beloved Ratchet and Clank series. It’s a much darker, grittier and violent series than Ratchet and Clank. An alien race called the Chimera arrive in Russia and quickly take it over. The Chimera have advanced weaponry and technology and they use that technology to infect civilians and adding them to their army. The Chimera soon take over all of mainland Europe and the United Kingdom is their next target. That’s the synopsis for the first game in the series Resistance: Fall of Man

In the second game the Chimera Invasion heads to the United States of America. Their technology has advanced further and there are more variations of Chimera. All out war erupts and the fight to survive begins.

The Resistance series is good series and is quite fun. If you haven’t played it, I urge you to give it a go. Now I shall shut up and show off the pictures I took of the Resistance 2 newspaper.
