Well, I guess it’s time to announce my big project and it’s called…

 

Resident Evil Memories

What is Resident Evil Memories?

Resident Evil Memories is a big collaboration project that hopes to bring together Resident Evil fans from around the world, to share their experiences and memories of the beloved survival horror series.

 

Why am I creating this?

Resident Evil Memories is being created as a way to celebrate the upcoming release of the Resident Evil 2 remake. Excitement and hype for Resident Evil 2 remake, is at an incredible height and is continuing to grow.

The aim of this project is to bring Resident Evil fans from all over the world together to celebrate Resident Evil and share their memories of the series. I want this project to be a way for fans to express their love (and maybe some of their gripes) for the series. Hopefully, this project will unite Resident Evil fans all over the world.

I want this project to be a way of starting Resident Evil related conversations and maybe people will make new friends in the process. If you make a new friend during this project, I will consider this a success.

 

How to get involved

There are several ways to get involved in this project:

• If you have a blog, you can write a Resident Evil related article and have it link back to this piece, this way I can clearly see how many people have written RE related blog posts. You can also send me the link via email or Twitter (details will be provided below).
• You can create a YouTube video if that’s more your thing and send me a link so I can attach it to the project.
• If you don’t have a blog or a YouTube channel you can STILL get involved. Make a Twitter post or thread and I’ll make a piece and put screenshots of your Tweet/s in it and I will link back to the original tweet. I hope this way allows more people to share their memories of the Resident Evil series and hopefully this means that you’ll get more Twitter followers.

The Resident Evil Memories Project will run from the moment this piece is published until January 24th, a day before Resident Evil 2 remake. You have plenty of time get involved.

One important thing I must say is that I may not get to your articles and posts straight away. I am at work Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 9.30pm (GMT) so if I don’t get back to you straight away, it’s because I am at work. I am very excited to be launching this project but also a little bit scared as I have not done anything of this scale before. There will inevitably a couple of mistakes made during this as this is a learning project for me. If this goes well, I may do another project similar to this but for another game.
