The launch of the brand

2020 is shaping up to be another fantastic year for video games, with long-awaited games scheduled to release and the next generation of games consoles are gearing up for launch.

We are at the start of a new year and I have many goals I want to achieve this year. I believe that if I can do all of these then this will be a great year for me and That Green Dude.

 

Live streaming and studio set-up

2020 is where I want to take the next step with That Green Dude and evolve it. I don’t want That Green Dude to be just a blog, I want it to be a “brand” of sorts. I’ve long expressed my interest in live streaming and I’ve even done a few on YouTube. However, I want to take live streaming one step further, I want to stream on Twitch. I want to stream on the number 1 streaming platform.

I don’t want to stream via the PS4’s streaming capabilities. I want a proper streaming set-up as this is something I want to do for a long time. I have big ideas for live streaming and I cannot wait to implement them. One of the reasons why I have not been posting on my blog that much is because of several personal life things, one of them being that I am reconfiguring my room so that it will eventually become a mini production studio of sorts. I have lots of ideas for this and man, I am so excited for the end result.

I can’t give an exact time when my mini production studio and streaming set up will be finished but I will male a post about it on here and post pictures of my Twitter.

 

YouTube

As well as live streaming, I also want to make videos on YouTube. I have don’t know what direction to take YouTube videos yet as my focus is on live streaming. I could do reviews or I could upload stream highlights. It’s something I’ll have a better idea of as I start streaming.

 

My blog

Lives streaming and video creation is something I want to do more of in 2020 but that doesn’t mean that I’ll stop posting on my blog. My blog, That Green Dude, has been around since 2017. It’s been a part of my life for 3 years and I have made so many friends and I’m part of a wonderful community. I might be evolving and expanding That Green Dude but blogging is still close to my heart.

Expect more game reviews; lists, collectors edition showcases and of course, coverage of E3 2020. I want to do some new kind of pieces for my blog but I don’t know what yet.

Last year I had great statistics. Views, comments and likes were all quite high but this year I want bold and stupidly ambitious. I want to double my 2019 stats in 2020.

 

Losing Weight

Losing weight is something I’ve been doing a while. The last two months of 2019 were a bit crap when it concerns losing weight. I lost a little bit of weight in 2019, not as much as I would have liked though. In the last two months of 2019 though I actually put weight on which was frustrating.

Now we are in 2020 I have made it a goal and one that I’m going all-in on, I want to hit my target weight of 15 stone by the end of May this year. I’ve got a lot of work to do but I am more prepared this year. My knee is fully healed which means I can hit the gym again and I can also work out at home which is great. I also have a diet plan which is going to help me greatly but I’ve got to stick to it to see the results.
