FINISH HIM!
Mortal Kombat has had its fair share of guest characters be put into its roster of kombatants (spelling this the MK way). Kratos; Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Alien and Predator are just a few that have fought against series staples like Scorpion, Raiden and Kitana.
With Mortal Kombat 11 fast approaching, fans have been guessing who the guest character or characters could potentially be. The beauty of Mortal Kombat having guest fighters is that there is an incredible amount to choose from. There are some guest kombatants that people have been requesting for years, could MK11 give them what they want?
I’ve come up with a list of five of my own guest characters that I would like to see in Mortal Kombat 11. Some of these choices are characters that I have wanted to see featured in Mortal Kombat for some time and others just because I’m a fan of them. Anyway, that’s enough of me talking. Round one, FIGHT!
5. Doomguy
I mean come on, Doomguy is perfect for Mortal Kombat. He can beat the crap out of demons so someone like Scorpion, Sonya or Baraka wouldn’t stand a chance. He could go full fisticuffs and include a multitude of weapons found in the DOOM series into his move set. Doomguy’s fatal blow could involve the sawn-off shotgun and/ or the chainsaw.
As for fatalities, the possibilities are near limitless. He could crush his opponents head underneath his foot or he could use the BFG. Doomguy is perfect for Mortal Kombat and as a DOOM fan, I would like to see this happen.
4. Pinhead

Mortal Kombat has had its fair share of iconic movie characters become part of the roster; Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, Alien and Predator to name a few. Why not include another beloved movie character, Pinhead.
I’m fairly certain it is possible to make him a unique feeling fighter, given the powers he has. NetherRealm has included other iconic horror movie icons into Mortal Kombat so why should Pinhead be left out of all the fun?
3. Ryu Hayabusa
The Mortal Kombat series is known for having a wide variety of ninjas so why not add one more to the mix? Why not add one of the most badass ninjas to grace video games, I’m talking about Ryu Hayabusa.
The Hayabusa I (and others I’d presume) want is the Ninja Gaiden version of him, not the Dead or Alive one. Hayabusa in Ninja Gaiden is a badass ultra-violent killing machine, nothing stands in his way. His “Brutality” could be a variation of the Izuna Drop where the opponent’s head gets crushed from the impact.
Hayabusa would be a quick character and I think he should have a lot of long combos. Ninja Gaiden is a very stylish and flashy game, so what better way to replicate that than to give Hayabusa some long combos.
I’ve been a fan of Ninja Gaiden and Ryu Hayabusa for years and even though I can’t see this happening, it doesn’t mean that I can’t dream that it will. #RyuHayabusaForMK11
2. Spawn

Spawn is one character that Mortal Kombat fans have been requesting, no, demanding for years. Given the sheer volume of people that would like to see Spawn in MK11 and those that flood Ed Boon’s Twitter with character requests (I seriously don’t know how Ed copes with all that on Twitter), I don’t think there’s much point in me going into too much detail.
Mortal Kombat fans want Spawn in MK11. Spawn fans want him in MK11. I think that announcing Spawn as a guest DLC character would make a lot of people very happy. Also, it will make Ed Boon’s Twitter a little bit quieter.
1. Nemesis
Okay, I’ll admit I am biased here. I want Nemesis in Mortal Kombat 11, I’ve wanted him in MK since Mortal Kombat 9. I know that the rights to Nemesis are owned by Capcom but I’m never giving up on hoping that he will be in a Mortal Kombat one day. Look at Tekken 7, Akuma and Geese are in that game, no one thought that would ever happen.
Nemesis is perfect for the 11th instalment. He’s tall, powerful and bloody terrifying. He would most definitely have to be a powerful character, focusing on hard hits that do incredible damage. He could have a ranged attack if NetherRealm includes his rocket launcher.
I’ve even thought up of a way he could be used in the story, even if it is just a five-minute appearance. Shit is going down when Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade come across Nemesis. They obviously don’t know of his origin so they immediately assume he is from Netherrealm or Outworld and that he is an enemy to Earthrealm. Of course, Johnny Cage and Sonya will come out victorious but my boy Nemesis has to have some screen time.
I just want Nemesis in Mortal Kombat. Make me happy Netherrealm, please? If not Nemesis, then Mr X from Resident Evil 2 remake at least. #NemesisForMK11
That’s my list for who I would like to see appear in Mortal Kombat 11 as a guest character. Let me know in the comments below who you would like to see in MK11. If you want to talk about Mortal Kombat or fighting games in general, then why not shout at me on Twitter – @ThatGreenDude95.
Definitely Nemesis that would be Awesome to see in MK!
