All the show dates and times in one place
Blimey, E3 2019 is nearly here which is crazy as E3 2018 felt as though it happened yesterday. Anyway, enough of me wondering where the time has gone, you are here to find out all the dates and times for the E3 2019 press conferences.
It is worth noting that Sony isn’t at E3 this year as late last year, Sony said that they would not be attending the event in 2019. It came as a shock to many, including myself. There has been no news yet if Sony decides to host another State of Play during E3. If they do announce a State of Play that will take place during E3, I’ll update this page with the new information.
EA won’t be at E3 once again but they are doing their EA Play event which takes place June 8-9. More information about EA Play is found on their website. I think it’s safe to say that we will see more of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at this event.
Microsoft – Sunday, June 9
Microsoft is at E3 again and I think it’s safe to say that we will see more of Gears of War 5 and Halo Infinite. Microsoft only has one big exclusive releasing later this year and that is Gears 5. We don’t know much about the next Gears title but given that it is slated for a late 2019 release, it would make sense that a significant portion of Microsoft’s show would be dedicated to it.
Microsoft will more than likely reveal some more of their next-gen plans at E3 2019. I don’t think they will show off the new console itself as I think it’s still a bit too early but I could be wrong. One thing’s for sure though, after last year’s Microsoft conference, this one is a must-see.

Bethesda
Bethesda’s show is going to be an interesting one, largely because of Fallout 76. Whether you love or hate Fallout 76, it did do a lot of damage to both Bethesda and Bethesda Games Studios. It will be interesting to see the crowd reaction given the overwhelmingly negative response the game got and the controversy around it. I think it’s pretty much impossible for Bethesda to not bring up Fallout 76 during their E3 show. We’ll have to wait and see if they address the controversy that surrounded it at launch.
As for what Bethesda could show at their conference, they have a couple of games. We can definitely expect to see more DOOM Eternal and Wolfenstein Youngblood. Don’t expect The Elder Scrolls VI or Starfield at E3 2019 as Bethesda have already said that those games wouldn’t be present. Bethesda could swerve us and show off Starfield, the next game by Bethesda Games Studios. The Elder Scrolls VI is definitely not showing up as it is very early in development and it was announced just so people would stop asking where it is.

Ubisoft – Monday, June 10
Watch Dogs 3 is pretty much a dead cert for E3 2019. Last year we had Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Far Cry 5 and if we follow Ubisoft’s release trends, it means that we are due for a return to the world of hacking. I would actually be pretty hyped for Watch Dogs 3 but I really do need to get around to playing Watch Dogs 2 at some point.
There will be no Assassin’s Creed at E3 this year as it’s taking a year-long break. That said, however, they could tease the new entry into the long-running series. They have so many time periods they can explore that it’s near limitless.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 will more than likely be showing up at E3 and hopefully with a release date. I think it’s safe to say that we will see more of the recently announced Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint at Ubi’s show. I know it’s wishful thinking but maybe, Ubisoft will announce new entries to the Prince of Persia and Driver franchises. Seriously, I miss the Driver series a lot.

PC Gaming Show E3 2019 – Monday, June 10
I don’t do PC gaming so I have no idea what to expect but I hope everything that PC gamers want, gets revealed at the show.

Square Enix
Square Enix have several things they can show off at E3 but their main attraction will be Final Fantasy VII Remake. The most recent trailer for the upcoming remake stated that we will see more of the game in June. E3 is in June but so is the Final Fantasy VII concert which is taking place in Los Angeles, the same city E3 is in. Expect to see FF7 Remake at both the concert and at their show at E3, just a heads up for FF fans that want all the info.
We should see something about the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC as it’s scheduled to release sometime later this year. I’m quite looking forward to the DLC as it’s going to feature more story elements, new Keyblades and new bosses. I’m hoping that the DLC will allow us to go to Radiant Garden.
Dragon Quest will more than likely be a part of their show as the western release of Dragon Quest Builders 2 is July 12. There’s also Dragon Quest 11 S for the Nintendo Switch and maybe they’ll announce another DQ game? I’m always up for more Dragon Quest.
I do hope we see more of Babylon’s Fall, a game that was announced at last year’s E3. Square Enix is working with renowned developer Platinum Games on the project but that’s pretty much all we know.
Maybe, just maybe we will finally see Square Enix’s Avengers game. The game was announced in 2017 and we haven’t seen anything from it since. Now that Endgame has released surely Square Enix would want to capitalise on the success and the hype by revealing some more details about the upcoming game.

Nintendo – Tuesday, June 11
I think it’s a safe bet that we’ll see a new DLC character for Super Smash Bros Ultimate during their Nintendo Direct. Nobody knows who the next character is going to be and they have so many to choose from.
Another safe bet is Pokémon Sword and Shield, of which I think are going to be the main focus of the Nintendo Direct at E3. These will be the first ‘proper’ Pokémon games on the Nintendo Switch that follow the traditional formula that fans love. I honestly don’t know what to expect other than reveals of new Pokémon and an overview of the world. I already know that Pokémon Sword and Shield are going to be one of the most talked about games of E3 because of the franchise’s huge popularity.
We might get updates on Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 as information on them has been pretty scarce. We might see some more of the awesome looking Astral Chain and hopefully Luigi’s Mansion 3, a game I am very excited for.
Is it time to see a new Mario Kart, one built from the ground up for the Switch? It might be and yes, I am hoping that it will be Double Dash 2 (Let me dream damn it!). Could we get a tease of the next mainline Zelda title at E3 2019? I’m not a huge Zelda buff but it seems as though fans are eagerly awaiting a new instalment, after the critically acclaimed Breath of the Wild.

That’s it, folks! I’ll have more E3 related content coming in the following weeks on the run-up to the event. Expect content such as; 10 Games I Would Like to see at E3 2019, E3 wishlist, Top 10 Games of E3 2019 and overviews of each show.
Did not know Sony is skipping this year too. A bit dissapointed. Thought Cd PR with Cyberpunk should be interesting.

It’s the first time Sony have ever skipped E3 and it’s led people to question if the “magic” of E3 is fading. Sony are busy behind the scenes, getting ready for next gen. That’s what they are focusing on now.
I am quite excited for Cyberpunk, it looks amazing. That will more than likely be shown at the Microsoft conference.

Really looking forward to Square Enix and Nintendo. Still have no idea what Sony are playing at though!

Sony have several exclusives in the works and you’d think they’d show them off but no. I think they’ll be showcased at the State of Play shows throughout the year.
I think Sony are getting things ready for when they eventually show off their next gen plans.
