I levelled up!
May was a good month, my site achieved its best monthly stats for this year, played some great games and I turned 24 (I feel old).
In May all of my stats increased from the month prior. To be more precise, they actually doubled April’s. I have to say a big thanks for everyone that read, liked and shared my content. Without all of you, my site wouldn’t be where it is today and I would have stopped writing on my blog.
I’ve played a lot of games throughout May and I have enjoyed all of them. Here’s a list of the games I have played:
- Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2
- Damascus Gear: Operation Osaka HD Edition
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Shenmue
- Shenmue 2
- Metro Exodus
- Team Sonic Racing
- Watch Dogs 2
All of these games are brilliant and I recommend them to everyone. Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 is a cool side-scroller shooter with personality and humour. Team Sonic Racing is a lot of fun and is a massive improvement from what I played at EGX 2018.
Watch Dogs 2 is a cool game that is very colourful especially compared to its rather monotone predecessor. I’m still playing Watch Dogs 2 and I couldn’t have picked a better time to play it because rumours suggest that a third entry will be announced at E3.
Metro Exodus is brilliant, fantastic, phenomenal. I loved every second of this game and my god the atmosphere this game creates. It’s tense, frightening and somehow, even though we’re no longer in the tunnels of the Metro, I still felt isolated. The feeling of sheer terror is still present and if anything it’s amplified greatly in Exodus. This game is a must play and is one of the best games I’ve played this year. (If you do decide to play Metro Exodus, play with headphones. Your experience will be so much better.)
What I wrote in May 2019:
What’s happening in June:
E3 related content

E3 2019 is this month and like last year, I will be making E3 related content. I have two pieces to come out before the conferences start; 10 Games I Want to see at E3 2019 and My E3 2019 Wishlist. These articles will be published on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Aside from those, I will be tweeting about E3 over on my Twitter. I will also be making articles providing an overview of what went down at each conference. These will be available shortly after the shows themselves (roughly an hour or so after). On top of all this, I will write about my top 10 games of E3 2019. The next week and a bit are going to be crazy.
Streaming
I haven’t streamed for a couple of weeks because of life things getting in the way but I will be streaming once again. I’ll be playing more Yakuza 6, Fist of the North Star and a few others.
I might do a live stream talking about E3. I haven’t decided to do multiple streams after every show or one big stream after all of the conferences have been presented. Let me know which you’d prefer to see.
That’s it, folks. May was a great month for me, what was it like for you? June is going to be crazy busy and I want to try and cover as much of E3 as one person possibly can. I am incredibly excited for all of the hecticness of E3. Let’s go!!!
